Hesse Base
A pretty and quiet village, Hesse has a charm and character that has been preserved over many years. Apart from a well-organised port the village also has the ruins of a Benedictine Abbey from the 11th century, whose church is now the village church.
PRE-ARRANGE YOUR TAXI TRANSFER
Le Boat will be happy to arrange transfers from your arrival point to the base. Please download a taxi transfer form here and send it to the base at least 14 days prior to departure. The base receptionist will contact you directly to confirm details of your transfer.
BASE OPENING HOURS
Monday - Saturday: 08:30am – 12:30pm 14:00pm – 18:00pm
Please note that if you have pre-booked an Early Check-In, then the base will be open for your arrival.
LATE ARRIVALS
If you are going to be arriving at the base late, you will need to inform the base directly or the general sales office where you booked. When you arrive at the base there will be a note on the reception door informing you where your boat is. The boat will be left open with the lights on for you to stay on board that night. FISHING
Two week fishing licenses are available at the base between June and October for €35.
In the canals around Hesse you might catch perch, pike, eel, tench and carp.
