Condom Base

Base Manager Christian Lassauniere welcomes you to Condom. Condom, the capital of the Ténarèze and city of Bossuet is a typical town from the Gascogne region. It reflects this with the souvenirs of its old hotels, its share of Armagnac, grain and wood works, and it is the main county town of an area rich with rural churches and manor houses.

PRE-ORDER YOUR GROCERIES

Take advantage of our online grocery ordering service which allows you to order a selection of basic provisions for your first few nights on board. This is especially useful if you are not driving to your base, or know you will be arriving after the supermarkets have closed. Simply download a provisioning list here, send it to the base and they will do your shopping for you! The cost of your groceries is payable in local currency when you arrive.

PRE-ARRANGE YOUR TAXI TRANSFER

Le Boat will be happy to arrange transfers from your arrival point to the base. Please download a taxi transfer form here and send it to the base at least 14 days prior to departure. The base receptionist will contact you directly to confirm details of your transfer.

BASE FACILITIES

Our base has toilets, showers, tourist information and the tasting and sale of regional products.

There is free open-air parking at the base as well as a covered and enclosed garage that can be used at an extra charge

OPENING HOURS

8.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm. These times apply every day from 1st April to 31th October.

Please note that if you have pre-booked an Early Check-In, then the base will be open for your arrival.

For clients taking a one-way cruise there is the possibility of car transfer from the departure base to the arrival base at a cost of 125€. The boats are available between 4 pm and 6 pm.

If you are going to arrive late, please advise us by phone.

You will find shops, post offices and banks closed on Sunday and Monday.

Sunday morning is farmers market and grocery stores and bakers are open. Market days: Wednesday and Saturday morning.
