Base manager Loic Boulais welcomes you to Dinan. Dinan is a medieval town, enclosed by ramparts overlooking the valley of the Rance (a spectacular sight). Try to keep a few hours available to visit this very lively town; it is at its best during the summer season. You will be able to visit the castle of the Duchess Anne and its museum, the Saint Sauveur Basilica and discover the old alleys including the famous Jerzual Road, the English Garden and the Clock Tower.
PRE-ORDER YOUR GROCERIES
Take advantage of our online grocery ordering service which allows you to order a selection of basic provisions for your first few nights on board. This is especially useful if you are not driving to your base, or know you will be arriving after the supermarkets have closed. Simply download a provisioning list here, send it to the base and they will do your shopping for you! The cost of your groceries is payable in local currency when you arrive.
PRE-ARRANGE YOUR TAXI TRANSFER
Le Boat will be happy to arrange transfers from your arrival point to the base. Please download a taxi transfer form here and send it to the base at least 14 days prior to departure. The base receptionist will contact you directly to confirm details of your transfer.
OPENING HOURS
The base is open only when there are departures.
Our base has toilets, showers and free open-air parking.
For those taking a one way cruise there is the possibility of car transfer from the departure base to the arrival base for an extra charge.
The boats are available between 4 pm and 6 pm. If you are going to arrive late, please advise us by phone.
You can find all the facilities you might need in Dinan including everyday shops and services such as banks, a post office, a pharmacy and a supermarket.
