Departing from Nieuwport, stop in Oudenbourg for some sightseeing and a bike ride before departing for the lovely city of Bruges where you can enjoy walking its cobbled streets and a meal of ‘moules frites’ (mussels in white wine with French fries) in one of the lively restaurants on the famous central square. Move on to spend time in Deinze, then cruise on the River Leie towards Gent, admiring the splendid castles that line the riverbanks.
