The SNCF railway station at Messac makes it easy to access the town and offers the possibilty to explore further afield.
REDON'S OLD HARBOUR AREA : You will fall under the charm of this old harbour with its footbridges, its gangways and its locks.
It's a lovely unspoilt spot, wild and natural, with a picinic area, and it is sometimes posisble to rent canoes and kayaks

From early May, La Gacilly is blooming with a wonderful, colourful display of flowers along the streets and bridges of the town. More than 30 artisans workshops offer high quality gifts and decorative items made from wood, glass, pottery, cloth, leather, metal, dried flowers, candles, soap, paintings, jewellers. The town is also home to the famous Yves Rocher factory.
Le Pont d'Oust in Peillac : an ideal place to moor in a remarkable natural environment.
St Martin is a picturesque rural canal-side village. Several points of interest will justify a pause here : the Castelan Castle for its dinner (on booking in the morning only) 02 99 91 51 69 and the owner can fetch you on the Canal (20 euros without drinks).

This is a typical little Breton village, with its church built at the top of a bluff overlooking the Oust.
