Murano
This is the most famous of all the islands in the Venetian Lagoon and has been the centre of Ventian glass making since the 13th century. A piece of Murano glass can be as simple as a a simple necklace, or glass heart for around 3 euros or as complex as a giant chandelier costing tens of thousands - and everything in between.
